Understanding the Roots of Bullying Behavior
Bullying doesn’t come from nowhere. Children often learn harmful behaviors by witnessing or experiencing trauma, neglect, or aggression in their early environments. When left unaddressed, these experiences can shape how they relate to others—sometimes through control, intimidation, or cruelty.
At The Echo Movement, we believe that to stop bullying, we have to look at where it begins. The cycle can end, but only if we’re willing to address the root causes with compassion and accountability.
