Sexual Bullying: When the Abuse Comes from a Manager

Share:

Sexual bullying isn’t always obvious, and it isn’t always loud.

Sometimes, it hides behind power. Behind authority. Behind the people we’re told to trust.

In this video, we talk about what happens when sexual bullying comes from a workplace manager. It doesn’t have to involve a physical act. It can be repeated boundary violations, inappropriate comments, or exposure to sexual behavior that makes you uncomfortable. And when it comes from a person in power, it’s even harder to report, because the risk is higher and the silence is thicker.

This kind of behavior is more than unprofessional.

It’s psychological manipulation and abuse. And it leaves real trauma behind.

Sexual bullying is a form of emotional bullying, and it often overlaps with covert bullying tactics like gaslighting, reputation sabotage, and isolation. Many victims don’t even recognize what’s happening until long after the damage is done.

If you’ve experienced sexual bullying at work, especially by someone in leadership, you are not alone.
You deserve to be safe. You deserve to be heard. You deserve better.
